Dupree Dotson Jr., 66, of Gainesville died Monday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Lanier Park campus following an extended illness.

Survivors include his daughters, Pam Kindred, Gainesville, and Paula Williams, Clemson, S.C.; mother, Inez Dotson, Gainesville; sisters, Mary Rucker, Dayton, Ohio, and Linda Dotson Niles, Gainesville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Fair Field Baptist Church, Statham. The Rev. Clifford Dotson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pamela Denise Elliott, 37, of Commerce died Tuesday following an extended illness.

She was the daughter of Don and Pamela Edmondson of Commerce.

Survivors include her parents; brother, Jamey Edmondson, Chattanooga, Tenn.; sisters, Sherry Elliott, Commerce, and Amy McGuire, Buford.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Jeremiah Hensley

Jeremiah Hensley, 73, of Athens died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital.

Born in Jackson County to the late Allie Lee Roach Hensley and Roy Hensley, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He also was a mechanic and member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Fitzpatrick Hensley, Athens; and daughter, Melissa Hensley, Statham.

The family received friends Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Rogers and the Rev. Kent Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery.

Frank Trotter, 89, of Clarkesville died Tuesday at Grady Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Rabun County to the late William W. and Tex Anna Jones Trotter, he retired from the Food and Drug Administration. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Clarkesville Lions Club. He retired after 20 years with the Food and Drug Administration.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Marie T. Ivester, Houston; son, John Anthony Trotter, Clarkesville; sisters, Lillian Frances Bennett, Athens, and Lou Ella Cleveland, Clarkesville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Hillside Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Furman Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
