Ann Young Anderson, 63, of Buford died Friday.

Complete arrangements will be announced by Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford.

Jimmie Ellie Brown

Aug. 20, 1921-Sept. 30, 2006

Jimmie Ellie Brown, 85, of Commerce died Saturday at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born in Banks County to the late Ola Bray McCoy and Willie McCoy, she was retired from Baker and Taylor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Commerce. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Brown; and sons, Sam Brown and Gary Brown.

Survivors include her sister, Addie Sanders, Buckhead; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Commerce. Dr. Carlton Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.

Ronnie Cantrell

Oct. 2, 1965-Sept. 30, 2006

Ronnie Cantrell, 40, of Flowery Branch died Saturday.

Born in Gwinnett County to Robert H. Cantrell of Commerce and the late Linda Dodd Cantrell, he was a graduate of North Gwinnett High School. He worked at B.P. Grading Co., Flowery Branch, and was a member of the Buford Church of Christ. He also was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Cantrell.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Cantrell, Flowery Branch; daughter, Deanna Johnson; father; stepmother, Doris Cantrell, Commerce; sisters, Connie Angel, Commerce, Becky Kirkland, Lilburn, and Virginia Gay, Flowery Branch; brothers, Bryan Cantrell, Flowery Branch, and Allen Cantrell, Commerce; and a grandmother.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2006, at the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford.

Julian David Gilbert

Died Sept. 29, 2006

Julian David Gilbert, 53, of Cumming died Friday.

He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church and was a past county commissioner in Forsyth County. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry H. Gilbert Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Retha Gilbert, Cumming; son, McLean Gilbert, Marietta; and brother, Donald Gilbert, Cumming.

The family received friends Saturday.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Bennett and the Rev. Hugh Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Sawnee View Gardens.

T.L. "Tim" McCoy

Jan. 31, 1921-Sept. 30, 2006

T.L. "Tim" McCoy, 85, of Mount Airy died Saturday at a local medical center.

Born in Walker County, Ala., to the late Willie Franklin and Bertie Sloan McCoy, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II and the Korean War. He also served in the U.S. Navy Fleet Reserve. He retired from Standard Telephone Co. and was a member of the Cornelia Lodge No. 92, F&AM, where he was a Past Master and served as secretary. He also was a member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Smith McCoy, Mount Airy; daughter, Linda Susan McClure, Gainesville; sons, Thomas Wayne McCoy and Richard Lewis McCoy, both of Mount Airy; brothers, George Buell McCoy, Bessemer, Ala., and Alister Leon McCoy, Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. The Rev. Walter Burrell and Dr. Bill Barrs will officiate. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens, with full military honors provided by the Rabun County DAV Chapter No. 15 and the Habersham County American Legion Post No. 84. Masonic Grave rites will be provided by the Cornelia Lodge No. 92, F&AM.

Brenda Park, 45, of Dawsonville died Friday at Northside Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born in Gwinnett County to Barbara Maddox of Cumming and the late Charles Atkinson, she was a homemaker. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Denise.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Park, Dawsonville; mother; daughters, Amanda King, Boston, and Christian Park, Dawsonville; sons, Jeremy Barrett and Joseph Park, both of Dawsonville; sisters, Charlotte Yarger, Cumming, Connie Kent, Sherry Coker and Lisa Kimbrell, all of Woodstock, and Beverly Nied, Buford; and brothers, Chuck Maddox, Jasper, and Robbie Maddox, Cumming.

The family will receive friends after noon Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at the chapel of Bearden Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

F.T. Sanders, 60, of Dawsonville died Friday.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dovard and Maudie Sanders; brother, Eddie Lee Sanders; and daughter, Sherry Sanders.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Sanders, Dawsonville; daughters, Renee White, Cumming, and Becky Hannah, Dawsonville; sisters, Betty Covington and Jenny Lou Sanders; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Spruill, the Rev. Wayne Mulligan and the Rev. Billy Mulligan will officiate. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery, Alpharetta.
